Dr. F. Morgan Dawkins
Morgan Dawkins, DVM graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1996 and is a co-owner of Windcrest, Hockessin, Talleyville, Graylyn Crest and Centreville Veterinary Hospitals. Dr. Dawkins has a special interest in exotics and orthopedic surgery.
He has known since elementary school that he wanted to be a veterinarian. The most memorable experiences of his career were his first day working as a doctor and the day he had a Bengal tiger cub as a patient.
Dr. Dawkins has served in the following capacities:

He is also is USDA accredited.
His family includes his beautiful wife Jennifer (a veterinarian at Hockessin Animal Hospital) and children – Collin, Bailey, Sidney and Trevor.
Family pets include two dogs, a hound mix (Spot) and a border collie (Gilly) currently being trained for sheep herding trials; cats (Tahlula and Tibby), three rabbits (Luna, Oreo and Scooter), guinea pig (Max), two tortoises, two chinchillas, saltwater fish, a pen full of chickens and ducks and lastly, a small flock of sheep (for Gilly).
His hobbies include woodworking, gardening, sheepdog training, motorcycle riding, sitting on the beach in Aruba and reptiles.
Windcrest Doctors
Dr. Cheryl L. Bell
Cheryl L. Bell, VMD is an associate veterinarian at Windcrest Animal Hospital. She graduated from Duke University and received her veterinary medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
Dr. Bell has volunteered for numerous animal rescue organizations and shelters in New York, Philadelphia and locally. She has fostered hundreds of cats in danger of euthanasia prior to finding new adoptive parents.
Dr. Bell lives in Landenberg, PA with her husband Bob, son Cole and two cats named Elliot and Mabel.
Dr. Carolyn Cassidy
Carolyn Cassidy, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and is currently a part-time veterinarian at Windcrest. Dr. Cassidy’s areas of interest are medicine and ultrasonography.
Dr. Cassidy has wanted to be a vet for as long as she can remember, with a strong desire to help and care for all animals. The memorable experiences of Dr. Cassidy’s are all associated with her saving an animal that was critically ill or had a poor prognosis.
Dr. Cassidy’s family includes her husband Timothy and three daughters, Anna, Elizabeth, and Rebecca. Her family of animals includes her dog (Isabella) and cats (Lovey, Willow and Phantom). Dr. Cassidy also enjoys running, gardening, cooking and hiking.
Dr. Anthony Dallatore
Dr. Anthony Dallatore, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and is currently an associate veterinarian at Windcrest Animal Hospital. Dr. Dallatore has an interest in exotic animal medicine, internal medicine, surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Anthony is the proud father of twin boys, Sebastiano Donato and Donte Michael born in June 2009. His wife, Mary Ann is a licensed veterinary technician.
They have a three-legged Papillion (Georgio), a Havenese (Hairiette), three domestic shorthair cats (Sebastian, Sasha and Noel), a Persian cat (Isabella) and two ferrets.
Dr. Dallatore also enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and fishing and is a volunteer at handicap and juvenile fishing programs.
Dr. Bruce Damme
Bruce Damme, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and is currently co-owner of Windcrest Animal Hospital, Hockessin Animal Hospital, Talleyville Veterinary Hospital and Centreville Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Damme grew up with a multitude of pets and always wanted to care for animals. Dr. Damme has been a volunteer vet at the Delaware SPCA for over 23 years.
Dr. Damme’s family includes his wife Elaine, a black lab (Ella), a chocolate lab (Mr. Moose), and four cats (Annabelle, Isabella, Little Boy and Sammy). His hobbies include hiking, biking and the great outdoors.
Dr. Donna L. W. Namey
Donna Namey, VMD graduated with the highest honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 and is co-owner of Windcrest Animal Hospital, Hockessin Animal Hospital, Talleyville Veterinary Hospital and Centreville Veterinary Hospital. She has a special interest in ultrasonography.
Dr. Namey counts her veterinary school acceptance phone call as one of her most memorable experiences. This call allowed her to fulfill her childhood dream of a career caring for pets.
Dr. Namey and her husband, George and their children, Jacob and Samuel enjoy spending time together. Dr. Namey is a frequent guest speaker at her children’s school. She also enjoys gardening, scrap booking and her family’s pets: 2 dog (Pumpkin and Sunny) and cats: (Hope, Annabell and Stripe).
Dr. Louis Snijders, BVSC
Dr. Louis Snijders graduated from Ondersteporrt, University of Pretoria in South Africa. His mother, Dr. Lorraine deJager, is also a veterinarian. Dr. Snijders is an associate veterinarian at Windcrest Animal Hospital and is part of the Critical Care & Emergency Care team.
Dr. Snijders has always wanted to make a difference in the quality of life for animals and seeing the joy on their owners’ faces. His most memorable experience in his veterinary career was doing three esophageal surgeries in one week shortly after graduating.
Dr. Snijders, wife Rachel and sons Anthonie and Tristan have a family of pets including: a Jack Russel Terrier (Shinto), a budgie (Regie) as well as Billy, Nanny, Casper and 160 other cashmere goats.
Dr. Snijders’ hobbies include classic cars, sport photography and farming. He is also an internationally qualified fencing referee and has participated as a fencer in various countries.
Dr. Kerri Wells
Dr. Kerri Wells, DVM graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was very young and has been working in the veterinary field since 2000. She joined the emergency and critical care team at Windcrest Animal Hospital in early 2012 after spending several years as an associate veterinarian in lower Delaware. Dr. Wells enjoys emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery.
She shares her home with her husband, a husky mix (Jasmine), a Mexican Hairless (Banzai), and a Chihuahua (George). She also has three cats (Corky, Cedric, and Orca), two ferrets (Sandy and Patrick), and a Russian Tortoise named Opie. In her limited free time she enjoys hiking, exploring Philadelphia (where she calls home), and relaxing with her family.
Dr. Margaret J. White
Dr. Margaret J. White, DVM graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 1997 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the Catholic University of America.
She joined the team at Centreville Veterinary Hospital in June 2007 as an associate veterinarian and joint Chief of Staff. Dr. White joined the staff of Windcrest Animal Hospital in August of 2010 and is currently an emergency and critical care veterinarian.
She has an interest in exotic small mammals, animal behavior and surgery. Dr. White also currently serves on the board of the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. White shares her home with her husband Chris, stepson Caleb, a lab-mix puppy (Abby), a rambunctious black cat (Timmy) and a rescued Siamese mix (CC). She has owned several cats, dogs, ferrets, pet rats, and a guinea pig in the past. In her free time, she competes in triathlons, travels, gardens and hikes.
Dr. Tom Wilkerson
Dr. Tom Wilkerson, DVM graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2009. He has known since the age of 4 that he wanted to be a veterinarian and has been working with animals since 13, when he started as a volunteer kennel attendant.
After fulfilling a family tradition of military service by enlisting in the Army following high school, Dr. Wilkerson went on to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Wilkerson worked as an Associate Veterinarian in Newtown, PA before joining Windcrest Animal Hospital. He has developed a special interest in exotic animal medicine from his experiences working with wildlife & with lab animals.
Tom and his wife, Jasmin, have two daughters, Tonet, and Keira. They also share their home with 2 cats, Bloo & Cheez, a mixed-breed dog Maya, and Emerald, an Eclectus parrot. In their rare free moments they enjoy hiking, photography and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Don W. Coats
Dr. Don W. Coats, DVM graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1966 and has been practicing at Centreville Veterinary Hospital ever since.
He is pleased to practice in a profession that provides the unique life experiences of observation, learning and healing.

Don loves bird watching and the study of natural history. He enjoys running, fly fishing and backpacking. He and his wife Marti are active in Lower Brandywine Church and the Centreville Civic Association. They have four children, four grandchildren, two rescue terriers, three cats and three beehives.
Dr. Jennifer Dawkins
Jennifer Dawkins, DVM graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1997 and is currently an Associate Veterinarian at Hockessin Animal Hospital. Dr. Dawkins knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age. She is a member of AVMA and the Delaware Veterinary Medical Assoc.
Dr. Dawkins grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and her family includes husband Morgan, also a veterinarian at Windcrest Animal Hospital, and her children Collin, Bailey, Sidney and Trevor. Family pets include dogs, Spot and Gilly, cats Taz, Tibby and Tahlula, a rabbit named Luna, a guinea pig named Max, 2 Chinchillas, Izzy and Kylie, 2 tortoises, Tortellini and Jack, salt water fish and a pen full of ducks and chickens. In her spare time, Dr. Dawkins enjoys mosaic and stained glass artwork as well as reading.
Hockessin Doctors
Dr. Janet B. Mitchell
Janet Mitchell, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and is currently an associate veterinarian of Hockessin Animal Hospital, with a special interest in dentistry.
Dr. Mitchell finds helping people help their pets live happy, healthy lives the most rewarding part of her job.
Dr. Mitchell is a member of the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association since 1990, where she served as president in 2003. She has also been a member of the Hockessin/Greenville Rotary since 1995.
Dr. Mitchell and her husband Jim own and operate the Woodside Farm Creamery in Hockessin. They milk their own Jersey cows and make homemade ice cream that they sell at the farm.
Dr. Mitchell has a family of pets including her cats (KC, Kittin and Squirt) and dogs (Lucky, a basset hound) and Jake (a bulldog).
Talleyville Doctors
Dr. Kathryn Stoltzfus
Dr. Kathryn Stoltzfus, BSc, BVSc, MRCVS graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1994 and is currently Chief of Staff at Talleyville Veterinary Hospital. She has a special interest in feline medicine and surgery, geriatric medicine and dentistry.
Dr. Stoltzfus was inspired to be a vet from an early age after reading All Creatures Great and Small. Her most memorable career moment was when she volunteered in the Himalayas. She participated in a spay/neuter and vaccination project and was lucky to be called upon to help a local leopard at the Royal Himalayan Zoo (surgery at 12,000 ft outdoors!)

She and her husband, David, have a family of animals including a Dalmatian, (Rudy) Terrier mix (Fongo), American Staffordshire (Jack) and a Himalayan cat (Muffin). In her spare time, Dr. Stoltzfus enjoys Tae Kwan Do, skiing, bicycling and gourmet food.
