Dr. Thomas Wilkerson, Chief of Staff
Dr. Tom Wilkerson has known since the age of 4 that he wanted to be a veterinarian and has been working with animals since 13, when he started as a kennel attendant. After fulfilling a family tradition of military service by enlisting in the Army and service 4 years in the Republic of Korea, Dr. Wilkerson went on to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. He graduated from Delaware Valley College in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Conservation & Biotechnology and then from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2009. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Wilkerson worked as an Associate Veterinarian in Newtown, PA before joining Windcrest Animal Hospital. He left Windcrest for a short-time to gain more experience in emergency medicine, before returning to the Graylyn Crest Animal Hospital, as Chief of Staff in March 2019.
Tom has developed a special interest in exotic animal medicine and surgery from his own pets growing up and experiences working with wildlife and with lab animals. He also enjoys dog and cat internal medicine and surgery, as well. Tom and his wife, Jasmin, have two daughters, Tonet and Keira. They also share their home with 2 cats, Ophelia & Laertes, and a mixed-breed dog, named IHOP. In their rare down time, they enjoy quiet time at home building puzzles, playing video games and just spending time as a family.
Dr. Rebecca Revay
Rebecca Revay, VMD, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Her interest in animals started with horseback riding as a kid, but her interest turned to small animals when she became a vet assistant in a small animal practice in New Jersey. In addition to treating cats and dogs, she is very interested in exotics. She grew up having rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots, parakeets, turtles, toads, and snakes as pets. She also has interests in wildlife and zoo medicine and has done externships at Six Flags Great Adventure Safari in New Jersey and at the Wildlife Center of Virginia, as well as volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center throughout her high school and college years. Her pets include a rabbit (Penguin) and her horse (Jackie). In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, playing bass guitar and violin, painting, quidditch, and video games.
