Appointments for Exotics

If you are considering an exotic, or small animal as a pet, or already own one, contact us today for an appointment.  For exotic pet appointments, we ask that you please take pictures of your pet’s enclosure/ cage set up to review at your appointment. This information can assist us with learning your pet’s husbandry. This would include pictures of a food farm (roach/cricket farm) if you are keeping one. We would also like the following measurements at the appointment if applicable:

1. Measurement or gallon of enclosure (ex. 40 gallon breeder tank)
2. High and low temperatures of enclosure
3. Heating source (heat lamp, heat pad)
4. Humidity %
5. Humidity source; hygrometer location if used
6. Offered lighting (UVB, basking, night lamp etc)
7. Substrate/bedding
8. Additions to enclosure (hides, hammocks, plants etc)

We also be will be asking about your pet’s diet. Bringing samples of your offered diet and supplements is also extremely helpful. Please bring a list of the following:

1. Name brand of the pellets/food mix you offer
2. A list of people food that is offered
3. Name brand and specifics on supplements/vitamins offered
4. Foods that are fed to prey, if applicable
5. Name brand and specifics on supplements/vitamins offered to prey, if applicable

And remember, we provide excellent wellness care, sick care, and more for your not-so-exotic pets, too!
